Technology Cooperation Office
This office was founded in 1984 as "Office of Scientific and Industrial Studies" for providing scientific and industrial consultations to the president. Having gained wide experience and success in establishing relations with foreign scientific research institutions it was renamed as "Technology Cooperation Office" (TCO) by the president of I.R. Iran, to promote the international cooperation in the field of advanced technologies. In reaching this goal in certain circumstances, TCO supports Iranian organizations in technology procurement.
TCO's support to Iranian organizations includes:
Technology development Planning,
Organizing design offices and R&D centers,
Joint research projects,
Organizing specialized training courses, seminars and exhibitions,
Technology procurement and localization,
Establishing relations between Iranian institutions and foreign industrial and scientific research centers for technology cooperation.
TCO is active in the following fields: Biotechnology, Aerospace, Information Technology, Software, New Materials, Industrial Processes, Energy, Civil Engineering, Infrastructures, Power Engineering, Studies on Technology Development and Technology Management, etc.
TCO is determined to promote the development of technological activities and export the products as well as the technology to other countries.
